Shoqata Leibniz

Shoqata Leibniz (gjermanisht: Leibniz-Gemeinschaft ose Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz) (anglisht: Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Scientific Community ose Leibniz Association) është një bashkim i 87 institucioneve, që merren me kërkime ose që vënë në dispozicion infrastrukturë shkencore në Gjermani. Organizata e sheh veten si partnere të shkollave të larta dhe të industrisë, politikës dhe institucioneve administrative. Në institutet Leibniz kryhen kërkime shkencore fundamentale me drejtim praktik në nivel ndërkombëtar. Përparësia e instituteve ka të bëjë me shumëllojshmërinë e temave të përpunuara dhe me pikënisjen ndërdisiplinore të punëve kërkimore.

Sektorët e veçantë shkencorë janë:

- shkencat shoqërore dhe kërkimet në fushën e arsimit

- shkencat ekonomike dhe sociale, shkencat e hapësirës

- shkencat e jetës

- shkencat matematike, natyrore dhe inxhinjerike

- shkencat e ambjentit

Synim i kërkimeve shkencore është zgjidhja e detyrave aktuale të së ardhmes në fushat e arsimit, kërkimit dhe teknologjisë. Shumë institute Leibniz kanë pasur si shkas për themelimin e tyre një problem konkret shoqëror.

Pjesë të shoqatës shkencore në këtë mënyrë janë institute të ndryshme si Instituti Bernhard - Nocht për mjekësinë tropikale në Hamburg, Instituti i Kërkimeve Shkencore në Halle ose Instituti i Gjuhës Gjermane në Manheim.
