All Who Are Capable Of Breathing The Breath (Russian: Все, способные дышать дыхание) is a novel by Linor Goralik. It was first published in 2019 by AST publishing company.^[1] The novel was awarded by critical jury of the NOS^[2][3] literary prize in 2019,^[4][5] in the same year it was included in to the shortlists of the Big Book literary award^[6] and Andrei Bely Prize.^[7]

The narrative of the novel is about the casual life of Israel after the ason (from Hebrew: catastrophe) — a tragedy, that entailed hard and weird phenomenon — «The Rainbow Disease», sandy storms «busha-ve-hirpah» and the main consequence: animal acquired the ability to speak. Some of them (racoons, for example) learn quickly and become cleverer, while the rest don't develop and remain animals, who have just become capable of speaking. It's necessary to coexist with them and take their opinion into account. In condition of catastrophe animals are able to hate, suffer and think — just as people do. The question is: how to survive in this new world and remain a good person? For many it's a difficult question.
