The women's shot put event at the 2019 African Games was held on 30 August in Rabat, Morocco.^[1] Olatoye represented Nigeria and got two medals, she won the gold medal in the women's shot put during the first round attempt, of 16.61. She then qualified for the World Championships. She won a bronze medal as well in the hammer throw competition with a 63.97 distance.^[2]
