Hadagasma (Sinhala: හදගැස්ම), is a 2024 Sri Lankan Sinhalese drama film directed by Akila Sandakelum and produced by Isuru Films.[1] It stars Arjuna Kamalanath and Shalika Edirisinghe in the lead roles with newcomers Naomi Peiris and Naveen Dilshan with Harshika Ratnayake, Anura Pathirana and Kumudini Adhikari made supportive roles.[2]

Production
The film marks the maiden film direction by Akila Sandakelum,[8] who acted in many popular television serials: "Kindurangana", "Rōsa Kaṭu", "Adaraṇīya Poorṇimā", "Sihina Wasanthayak", "Gæhænu Lamayi", "Bonda Meedum" and films Hiripoda Wassa and Dr. Nawariyan.[1] He also wrote the script and screenplay of the film. The film is produced by Isuru Films. Janith Gunasekara is the cinematographer and lighting controller whereas editing, color mixing, visual effects and dialogue recording done by Danal Thiranjana. Nimesh Lakmal is the assistant director and Vimukthi Lakmal, Buddhika Sandaruwan Hettiarachchi are the second and third assistant directors.[1]
Dilan Gunawardena contributed with sound design and 7.1 sound mixing. Roland Rodney Vantwoest is the choreographer, Sumudu Amalka is the stunt director and Sayuru Yasanga is the still photographer. Production management included Dhammika Gunasena and Dinusha Sampath De Silva. Art direction done by Sumathi Kudaligama with the assistance of Buddhika Kumarasinghe and Indika Sandaruwan Rajapaksa. Rasika Nuwan Wijesinghe and Chamara Madhusanka are cinematography assistants and Asanka Pradeep is the lighting assistant.[1]
Subtitles made by Harsha Aravinda and Production assistance by Jayantha Nishantha Abeydeera. Music direction done by Lakmal Fernando, with the assistance of Supipi Dodangoda, where lyrics penned by Nalin Fanandu, Rashini Hettiarachchi, Tharaka Acharige and Wasana Kavindi Fernando. “Meedum Gala Hendewe” song composition handled by Roland Rodney Vantwoest. Umayangana Wickramasinghe, Suranga Hikkaduwa, Manesh Pramuditha and director himself made voice dubbing.[1]
Release
The film is released on 1 November 2024.[9][10] The film successfully passed 50 days in theaters.[11]
