PROS Holdings, Inc. is a technology company that provides revenue management, dynamic pricing, and digital retailing solutions. Following its acquisition by investment firm Thoma Bravo, the company separated its B2B and airline businesses, refocusing its operations exclusively on the airline industry.[2] Headquartered in Houston, Texas, PROS operates globally with offices across Europe and North America, including locations in Frankfurt, Germany, and Sofia, Bulgaria.[3]
History
In June 2007, PROS became a public company via an initial public offering.[4]
In December 2013, PROS acquired SignalDemand, which offers supply aware price and optimization software, for $13.5 million.[5]
In October 2014, PROS acquired Cameleon Software, a provider of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) tools, for $33 million.[6][7]
In 2017, PROS acquired Vayant Travel Technologies, a privately held airfare search company based in Sofia, Bulgaria, for $35 million.[8][9]
In 2019, PROS acquired French travel tech firm Travelaer SAS for $12 million.[10]
In 2021, PROS acquired Miami-based fare-marketing company EveryMundo for $90 million.[11]
In May 2025, PROS named Jeff Cotten as president and CEO, effective June 2, 2025. Cotten succeeded Andres Reiner, who announced his retirement and transition to a senior advisory role.[12]+
In September 22, 2025, PROS Holdings, Inc. and Thoma Bravo announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which PROS will be acquired by Thoma Bravo in an all-cash transaction valuing PROS at approximately $1.4 billion.
