UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards

UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards, also known as the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation is a regional flagship programme of UNESCO since 2000, in recognition of the archievement made by the private sector and public-private initiatives in conserving or restoring cultural heritage sites in the Asia-Pacific region.[1]

The objective is to motivate the protection of cultural heritage sites initiated by the private sector or through public-private collaboration.[1]

Award categories

The Awards now consist of six categories.[2]
