La Brève ornée (Hydrornis phayrei) est une espèce d'oiseaux d'Asie du Sud-Est appartenant à la famille des Pittidae.
Son épithète spécifique est attribuée à Arthur Purves Phayre (en) (1812-1885)[1].
Description
Cet oiseau mesure 20-24 cm.
Répartition
Son aire s'étend à travers l'Indochine et le sud du Yunnan (rare en Birmanie, en Thaïlande et le sud du Viêt Nam)[2].
