George Condo, né le 10 décembre 1957 à Concord (New Hampshire), est un peintre américain des États-Unis.

George Condo vit et travaille à New York, mais a vécu à Paris de 1985 à 1995^[1]. Son œuvre est principalement constitué de portraits, dans lesquels il explore et interprète les innombrables modèles et références de ce genre traditionnel de l'histoire de l'art.

George Condo s'installe à New York en 1979, où il devient assistant d'Andy Warhol pour la réalisation des sérigraphie de la série Myths. Il y sympathise avec Jean-Michel Basquiat et Keith Haring et réalise sa première exposition personnelle dès 1983^[2].
