Géographie

La municipalité s'étend sur 1,58 milles carrés (4,09 km²), dont 0,07 milles carrés (0,18 km²) couverts d'eau^[1]. Nederland se trouve en effet sur les rives du Réservoir Barker Meadow (en),

Histoire

Successivement appelée Brownsville, Middle Boulder ou Tungsten Town, la ville est renommée Nederland (« Pays Bas ») par un syndicat hollandais qui y possédait des mines^[2].
