La Paruline de Townsend (Setophaga townsendi, anciennement Dendroica townsendi) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Parulidae.

Son nom commémore le naturaliste américain John Kirk Townsend (1809-1951)^[1].

Cet oiseau mesure 12-13 cm.

Elle niche notamment à travers des milieux forestiers du genre Abies.
