La Tourterelle de Reichenow ou Tourterelle à ailes blanches (Streptopelia reichenowi) est une espèce d'oiseaux appartenant à la famille des Columbidae. Selon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 15.1, 2025)[1], c'est une espèce monotypique (non subdivisée en sous-espèces).
Répartition
Cet oiseau se trouve en Éthiopie, au Kenya et en Somalie[2].
Habitat
Son habitat naturel est les forêts humides subtropicales ou tropicales de plaine, les zones de broussailles sèches subtropicales ou tropicales, les plantations et les aires urbaines.
Il est menacé par la perte de son habitat.
Étymologie
Le nom de l'espèce est un hommage au zoologiste allemand Anton Reichenow (1847–1941)[3].
