Anthony Rossomando (21 febbraio 1976) è un chitarrista statunitense.
Biografia
Di origini italiane e cresciuto a Hamden, dopo aver abbandonato l'università al primo anno, si è trasferito a Boston dove ha fondato i The Damn Personals[1][2]. La band si è esibita in numerosi locali indie di Boston, Providence e New York, oltre ad organizzare un tour in Europa con i Cave In[3].
Nel 2003 è stato presentato da Isaac Green della Columbia Records a Carl Barât, il quale gli ha proposto di sostituire Pete Doherty nell'imminente tour americano dei The Libertines[4]. Con il gruppo ha anche suonato a Londra al programma Top of the Pops e al Festival di Reading e Leeds[5]. Nel 2005 ha co-fondato, assieme a Barât, i Dirty Pretty Things[6].
Nel 2018 ha scritto insieme a Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson e Andrew Wyatt la canzone Shallow, interpretata da Gaga e Bradley Cooper, per il film A Star Is Born[7][8]. Per tale lavoro ha vinto il Premio Oscar e il Golden Globealla miglior canzone originale e il Grammy Award alla miglior colonna sonora per i media visivi[9][10][11].
