Fracastoro, ufficialmente Fracastorius, è un grande cratere lunare di 120,58 km situato nella parte sud-orientale della faccia visibile della Luna, sul confine meridionale del Mare Nectaris, ed è quanto rimane di un antico impatto ormai ricoperto di lava. A nordovest di questa formazione si trova il cratere Beaumont, mentre a nordest c'è il cratere Rosse.
La parete settentrionale del cratere è stata completamente erosa; l'unico resto sono alcune piccole collinette all'interno del mare lunare. La lava che ha dato origine al Mare Nectaris ha invaso anche il cratere, dunque la struttura ora è simile a una baia. Quello che resta del bordo è pesantemente eroso e ricoperto da impatti minori; soltanto rare sezioni sono ancora intatte. L'altezza massima dell'orlo è di 2.400 metri. Il più notevole dei crateri minori è "Fracastoro D", che occupa una consistente parte del bordo occidentale.
Fracastorius non ha alcun picco centrale, ma una lunga rima che passa attraverso il centro del fondale in direzione est-ovest.
Il cratere è dedicato al fisico italiano Girolamo Fracastoro.
