Carriera

Club

Cresciuto nel settore giovanile del Newcastle United[3][4], il 9 febbraio 2015 firma il primo contratto professionistico con i Magpies[5]; esordisce in prima squadra il 18 gennaio 2017, nella partita di FA Cup vinta per 3-1 contro il Birmingham City.[6][7] Il 21 ottobre 2017 rinnova con i bianconeri fino al 2019[8], passando poi, nel successivo mese di gennaio, al Crewe Alexandra, con cui resta per tre mesi.[9][10][11] Il 31 agosto 2018 viene ceduto all'Accrington Stanley[12]; il 3 gennaio 2019 il prestito viene prolungato fino al termine della stagione.[13] Il 3 luglio seguente, dopo aver prolungato il contratto con il Newcastle, passa a titolo temporaneo al Rotherham United[14][15]; il 2 ottobre 2020 viene acquistato a titolo definitivo dai Millers, con cui firma un triennale.[16][17]

Ha giocato nelle nazionali giovanili turche Under-16 ed Under-17 e nella nazionale inglese Under-18.
