Il Miles Franklin Literary Award è uno dei più importanti premi letterari australiani[1] assegnato annualmente ad un romanzo di alto valore trattante un aspetto della vita australiana[2].
Istituito per volontà della scrittrice Miles Franklin che lasciò in eredita il suo patrimonio stimato in 8922 sterline[3] per fondare il riconoscimento[4], assegna al vincitore un premio in denaro di 60000 dollari[5].
