『The Escapist』（ジ・エスケーピスト）は、アメリカ合衆国のビデオゲーム・ウェブサイト、オンラインマガジン。
歴史
2018年7月、The Escapistはデストラクトイドのオーナーであるエンスージアスト・ゲーミングによって買収され[1]、2018年9月にラス・ピッツが編集長に就任し[2]、サイト名が『Escapist Magazine Volume Two』（エスケーピスト・マガジン・ボリューム2）に変更された[3]。
2020年4月、サイト名はThe Escapistに戻された。また、このサイトは読者が無広告でサイトを閲覧することができるサービス『The Escapist+』を開始した[4]。
受賞
The Escapistは2011年に3つのウェビー賞を受賞している。
