Drymophila – rodzaj ptaków z podrodziny chronek (Thamnophilinae) w obrębie rodziny chronkowatych (Thamnophilidae).
Rozmieszczenie geograficzne

Morfologia
Długość ciała 12,5–15,5 cm; masa ciała 9,5–13,2 g[9].
Systematyka
Rodzaj zdefiniował w 1824 roku angielski zoolog William Swainson w artykule zatytułowanym Badanie naturalnych powinowactw Lanidae, czyli dzierzb; poprzedzone kilkoma spostrzeżeniami na temat obecnego stanu ornitologii w tym kraju, opublikowanym w czasopiśmie „The Zoological journal”[2]. Gatunkiem typowym jest (późniejsze oznaczenie[10]) leśnica rdzawa (D. ferruginea).
Etymologia
- Drymophila (Drymophyla, Drimophilus, Drymophilus): gr. δρυμος drumos ‘knieja, zagajnik’; φιλος philos ‘miłośnik’[11].
- Ellipura: gr. ελλιπης ellipēs ‘wadliwy, brakujący’, od ελλειπω elleipō ‘zaniedbać’; ουρα oura ‘ogon’[12]. Gatunek typowy (późniejsze oznaczenie[13]): Myiothera squamata M.H.C. Lichtenstein, 1823.
- Taenidiura: gr. ταινιδιον tainidion ‘wstążka’, od ταινια tainia ‘wstęga’; przyrostek zdrabniający –ιδιον –idion; ουρα oura ‘ogon’[14]. Gatunek typowy (późniejsze oznaczenie[13]): Myiothera squamata M.H.C. Lichtenstein, 1823.
- Stipituropsis: rodzaj Stipiturus Lesson, 1831 (szczeciogonek); gr. οψις opsis ‘przypominający’[15]. Gatunek typowy (oznaczenie monotypowe): Formicivora arechavaletae W. Bertoni, 1901 (= Myiothera malura Temminck, 1825.
