Melanoneura – rodzaj ważek z rodziny pióronogowatych (Platycnemididae)[1].
Zasięg występowania
Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące w południowo-zachodnich Indiach[4][5].
Systematyka
Rodzaj ten wprowadził w 1922 roku angielski entomolog Frederic Charles Fraser dla nowo opisanego przez siebie gatunku Melanoneura bilineata[2]. W 2024 roku opisano drugi gatunek z tego rodzaju[4].
Etymologia
Melanoneura: gr. μέλᾱς melas (rodz. żeński melaina) „czarny”, melania „czerń”[6]; gr. νεῦρον neuron – każda włóknista struktura organizmu, np. ścięgno, żyła, nerw, włókno roślin[7][8], w entomologii dotyczy żyłek skrzydeł[7], przyrostek często stosowany w nazwach rodzajowych ważek[1][3].
Podział systematyczny
Do rodzaju należą następujące gatunki[1]:
- Melanoneura agasthyamalaica Chandran, Chandran, Jose & Koparde, 2024
- Melanoneura bilineata Fraser, 1922
