Retroplumoidea (лат.) — надсемейство морских крабов из инфраотряда Eubrachyura (Retroplumoidea, Heterotremata). Включает около 10 современных видов и около 20 ископаемых.

Описание

Имеют плоский, почти прямоугольный карапакс, длинные переоподы 2-4 и более короткие, тонкие, перистые пятые переоподы. Все они обитают в илистых средах на больших глубинах от средней части шельфа до верхнего склона. Отличаются следующими признаками: пятый переопод редуцирован, с длинными краевыми щетинками, напоминающими перья^[2].

Классификация

Известно одно современное и два недавно выделенных ископаемых семейства^[1]^[2]. По данным World Register of Marine Species (с дополнениями) включает около 10 современных видов и около 20 ископаемых^[1]^[3]:
