Labeobarbus macrophtalmus es una especie de pez de la familia Cyprinidae, orden Cypriniformes.
Son peces dulceacuícolas endémicos del lago Tana (Etiopía) que pueden llegar a alcanzar los 42,5 cm de longitud total.[1][2]
