Etimologia
L'epiteto specifico è stato dato in riferimento al luogo della sua scoperta.[1]

Distribuzione e habitat
Si trova nella Guyana francese sudoccidentale e nell'adiacente Suriname; probabilmente anche nel vicino Brasile.[2]
