Nathan Troy Blauvelt, meglio noto come Brody King (Van Nuys, 17 marzo 1987), è un wrestler statunitense sotto contratto con la All Elite Wrestling. In carriera ha detenuto una volta l'AEW World Tag Team Championship con Bandido e una volta l'AEW World Trios Championship con la House of Black (Malakai Black e Buddy Matthews)[1].

Carriera

Inizi di carriera (2015–2017)

Blauvelt si è allenato presso la Santinos Bros Academy a Bell Gardens, in California, e ha debuttato nel 2015.[2] Ha iniziato a esibirsi con il nome Brody King, per omaggiare sia Bruiser Brody che Brodie Lee.[3] Nel 2016 ha partecipato alla Young Lions Cup della All Pro Wrestling, vincendo il torneo.[4]

Major League Wrestling (2017–2018)

King ha debuttato nella Major League Wrestling (MLW) durante l'evento Never Say Never del 12 dicembre 2017, venendo sconfitto da Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP).[5] Tre mesi dopo, fu eliminato al primo turno del torneo per l'MLW World Heavyweight Championship da Shane Strickland. Successivamente partecipò al Battle Riot match da 40 uomini, venendo eliminato nel corso della contesa. Il 6 settembre 2018, King disputò il suo primo incontro in MLW contro PCO; il match degenerò in una rissa fra i due e si concluse con un no contest dopo circa cinque minuti.[5] Il suo ultimo incontro per la MLW è avvenuto nell'edizione natalizia 2018 di MLW Fusion – un match registrato durante a novembre – in cui è stato sconfitto da PCO in un no disqualification match, terminando così la loro rivalità.[6]

Circuito indipendente (2018–2019)

King nel luglio 2018

Nel 2018 ha debuttato nella Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) all'evento Neon Knights, venendo sconfitto da Adam Brooks. A Time Is A Flat Circle ha battuto Douglas James, Eli Everfly e Jake Atlas in un Fatal 4-Way match. Ha ottenuto un'opportunità titolata contro l'allora campione Walter a Threemendous V; pur perdendo l'incontro, la sua prestazione è stata molto apprezzata.[7] Ha partecipato alla Battle of Los Angeles del 2018 dove ha sconfitto PCO al primo turno,[8] ma poi fu sconfitto da Trevor Lee al secondo turno.[9] All'evento successivo, perse contro Timothy Thatcher.[10] Successivamente, Brody King ha combattuto per la PWG durante l'evento Hand of Doom, svoltosi il 18 gennaio 2019; in tale occasione ha sconfitto Jungle Boy.[11]

Il 31 agosto 2018, all'evento AAW Defining Moment 2018 della AAW Wrestling, King ha conquistato l'AAW Heavyweight Championship sconfiggendo ACH.[12] Difese con successo il titolo contro Pentagon Jr. ed Eddie Kingston, prima di perderlo contro Sami Callihan il 29 dicembre 2018.[13] Il 16 e il 17 novembre, King ha partecipato a due eventi della Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). La prima sera ha sconfitto Hardcore Holly, mentre la seconda ha perso un incontro valido per il GCW Heavyweight Championship contro Nick Gage. Nel novembre 2018, King si è alleato con Marty Scurll durante un tour della World Series Wrestling, formando un tag team noto come Villain Enterprises; nel corso dello stesso tour, i due hanno conquistato il WSW Tag Team Championship.[14] Il suo ultimo incontro del 2018 sarebbe stato per la Suburban Fight Pro contro Darby Allin.[15]

National Wrestling Alliance (2019)

In coppia con PCO, King ha partecipato alla Crockett Cup del 2019. King e PCO hanno sconfitto Royce Isaacs e Thom Latimer in finale, conquistando la coppa e il vacante NWA World Tag Team Championship.

Ring of Honor (2018-2021)

Il 1º dicembre 2018, King ha firmato un contratto con la Ring of Honor.[16][17] Ha debuttato nella ROH durante le registrazioni del 15 dicembre, formando la Villain Enterprises insieme a Scurll e PCO.[18] King e PCO vinsero poi il ROH Tag Wars del 2019 e, il 15 marzo, sconfissero i Briscoe Brothers in una Las Vegas Street Fight conquistando il ROH World Tag Team Championship durante il ROH 17th Anniversary Show. La sera seguente, King, PCO e Scurll sconfissero The Kingdom conquistando il ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship durante le registrazioni di Ring of Honor Wrestling; ciò rese King un doppio campione nella ROH nell'arco di 24 ore. PCO e King persero i titoli di coppia contro i Guerrillas of Destiny in un Fatal 4-Way match che coinvolse anche Los Ingobernables de Japón (EVIL e Sanada) e i Briscoes durante la G1 Supercard. L'11 gennaio 2020 i Villain Enterprises persero i titoli Six-Man tag contro la MexiSquad (Bandido, Flamita e Rey Horus). In seguito, la Villain Enterprises si sciolse a causa della pandemia di COVID-19 e dell'addio di Scurll dalla Ring of Honor — avvenuto dopo delle accuse emerse durante il Speaking Out Movement — mentre King e PCO iniziarono a combattere in singolo. A Final Battle, King affrontò Rush con in palio il ROH World Championship, ma fu sconfitto dopo l'interferenza de La Bestia del Ring, che lo colpì con una sedia d'acciaio. Il 26 marzo 2021, durante il ROH 19th Anniversary Show, King presentò una nuova fazione chiamata Violence Unlimited, composta da Tony Deppen, Chris Dickinson e Homicide, che poi attaccò La Facción Ingobernable.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling (2019-2022, 2025)

Il contratto di King con la ROH gli ha aperto le porte per debuttare in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Il suo esordio è stato il 30 gennaio 2019 in un match di coppia che lo ha visto affiancare Scurll contro la Killer Elite Squad a The New Beginning in USA.[19] Il 2 febbraio ha combattuto nell'ultima giornata del tour americano, affrontando Jeff Cobb per il ROH World Television Championship.[20] La sua successiva apparizione per la federazione sarebbe avvenuta in Giappone, durante il Best of the Super Juniors del 2019. In quell'occasione, fece coppia con Scurll, e sconfisse Taiji Ishimori e Gedo.[21]

Il 5 gennaio 2025, a Wrestle Dynasty, King è stato sconfitto da David Finlay.[22]

All Elite Wrestling (2022–presente)

Hounds of Hell/Hounds of Black (2022-2025)

Nella puntata di AEW Dynamite del 12 gennaio 2022, King ha fatto il suo debutto in All Elite Wrestling, alleandosi con Malakai Black.

A Revolution, il 5 marzo 2023, House of Black ha sconfitto The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson e Nick Jackson) aggiudicandosi l'AEW World Trios Championship. Hanno perso i titoli contro gli Acclaimed e Billy Gunn ad All In nell'agosto 2023.

Brodido (2025–presente)

A luglio 2025, ha formato una tag team con Bandido, denominato poi “Brodido”. I Brodido hanno poi sconfitto The Hurt Syndicate e FTR aggiudicandosi l'AEW World Tag Team Championship a Forbidden Door il 24 agosto.[23] Il 20 settembre ad All Out, i Brodido hanno difeso i loro titoli in un Ladder match a quattro coppie, che vedeva coinvolti The Young Bucks, Don Callis Family (Hechicero e Josh Alexander) e i JetSpeed (Kevin Knight e “Speedball” Mike Bailey).[24] Il 18 ottobre a WrestleDream, i Brodido hanno difeso i loro titoli contro Kazuchika Okada e Konosuke Takeshita della Don Callis Family.[25] A Full Gear il 22 novembre, i Brodido hanno perso i loro titoli contro gli FTR, ponendo fine al loro regno dopo 90 giorni.[26]

Nella puntata di Dynamite del 4 febbraio 2026, King ha sconfitto l'attuale campione del mondo AEW MJF in un eliminator match, guadagnandosi così la possibilità di sfidare il campione alla puntata speciale di Collision Grand Slam Australia del 14 febbraio, ma non è riuscito a conquistare il titolo.[27]

A Revolution 2026 è stato sconfitto da Swerve Strickland in un single match.[28]
