Selections from Going My Way (Academy Award Picture) – studyjny album muzyczny autorstwa Binga Crosby'ego wydany pod koniec 1945 roku.
Tło i wydanie
Selections from Going My Way zawiera nagrania Binga Crosby’ego związane z filmem Idąc moją drogą z 1944 roku.
„Going My Way”, „Swinging on a Star” oraz „The Day After Forever” zostały nagrane 7 lutego 1944 roku w Los Angeles z orkiestrą Johna Scotta Trottera. Przy „Swinging on a Star” Crosby’emu towarzyszył dodatkowo The Williams Brothers Quartet. „Going My Way” i „Swinging on a Star” wydano już w kwietniu 1944 roku jako Decca 18597.
Sukces komercyjny
Największy sukces spośród zawartych na albumie nagrań odniosło „Swinging on a Star”.
Selections from Going My Way odniósł sukces również jako kompletne wydawnictwo. W październiku 1945 roku album osiągnął pierwsze miejsce zestawienia Best-Selling Popular Record Albums magazynu „Billboard”[7].
