The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead! - szesnasty album studyjny thrashmetalowego zespołu Megadeth. Został wydany 22 września 2022 roku nakładem wytwórni Dave'a Mustaine'a Tradecraft/Universal[8].
Jest to pierwsza płyta zespołu z perkusistą Dirkem Verbeurenem oraz ostatnia z gitarzystą Kiko Loureiro.
Prace rozpoczęły się w 2019, lecz wystąpiły opóźnienia z powodu diagnozy raka krtani u wokalisty Dave'a Mustaine'a oraz obostrzeń wynikających z pandemii COVID-19. W 2021 Dave Ellefson - basista grupy od 1983 został wydalony z zespołu po wycieku nieprzyzwoitych nagrań wysłanych do fanki[9]. Jego partie basowe zostały usunięte i nagrane ponownie przez Steve'a DiGiorgio, a po skończeniu nagrań do zespołu w miejsce Ellefsona wstapił James LoMenzo.
Album dotarł do 3. miejsca listy Billboard 200, sprzedając 48 tyś. egzemplarzy. Dotarł również na 1. miejsce w Finlandii, 2. miejsce w Australii, Polsce, Szwajcarii i Szkocji oraz 3. w Wielkiej Brytanii[10]. Został uznany za 4 najlepszy album gitarowy roku 2022 przez czytelników Guitar World[11]. Singiel „We'll Be Back” został nominowany do kategorii Najlepszy występ metalowy na 65. ceremonii wręczenia nagród Grammy[12].
